donnelly news

Next edition June 29th –July 5th
Welcome to another edition of the Donnelly news:
Weather news: the big news this week is the storm which hit the area early Friday morning June 21st bringing with it heavy rains, (5+”), hurricane force winds, along with lots of thunder and lightning. Most people in the area lost power for a while and lots of branches and trees came down many residents are still busy cleaning up. I was fortunate only had a few branches come down and power was restored by mid-morning on Fri.   Needless to say there is a lot of standing water in area fields from that and subsequent rains.  thankfully the weather has calmed down bringing with lots of sunshine to dry things out however some crops do not look as good as they did last week
