The Donnelly community club had it annual meeting on March 17th at the hall. Kermit Lange was reelected to the board, and Ron Bouressa was elected to it. We had a fair year last year, our button sales at the gate this year were down considerably due in part to the excessive heat during the bee weekend ,which meant less income to pay the bills with. That is why we have reserves and hope for better things this year.  Mark your calendars for this year’s bee on August 23rd-24th. This year’s feature is Ford ,next year (2015) we will be celebrating our 50th anniversary so we are looking for ideas on how to celebrate, and would also appreciate any pictures or memorabilia from past shows that you might have, contact Harry Kruize at 246-3337 or e-mail donnellythreshingbee@runestone.net  for more info. Thank you to the community club for the Donnelly bucks I won at the meeting and a huge thank you to Corrine Larson for making a new robe for threshing bee queen. The next meeting is April 14th at 7 p.m. at the community hall.
In the past week several of us from the Donnelly area attended the noon lunch at Pederson’s Agri serv, open house at Larson’s farm supply, and the New Horizons Ag services annual meeting, I also visited Sam and Dorothy Johrdheim at their home in Donnelly.
