donnelly news

Next edition Dec 19th -25th

Welcome to another edition of the Donnelly news. Please note that due to the Christmas and New Year’s holidays I will have early deadlines so I will need any news by the 22nd and the 29th.

The weather during the past week has been very cold with -0 temps almost every day, thankfully there has not been much wind to go with it and just a few inches of snow on the ground in this area. I took a different route home last week and saw that there were still a couple of cornfields in the area left to be picked.

STJ/KONG PARISH NEWS there will be joint services at St J on Dec 24th at 9 pm; Dec 25th at 10am at Kong and Dec 29th (STJ) time to be announced.

The parish collection of food for the St Co Food shelf will continue through Dec.

The Kong Christmas Christmas_Card Club will be held again this yr to add your name to the list contact Bertha Larson or Florentine Erickson by Dec 20th.

The second one will be held on Dec 23rd at Kong at 7 pm followed by birthday cake, punch and coffee in honor of Jesus’ birthday.

Please remember to look at our community bulletin board when driving though town for details of upcoming events such as Santa’s annual visit to Donnelly today (Sat)

Most Donnelly business will be closing early on Dec 24th and be closed all day on Dec 25th. As far as I know HD & CO is the only Donnelly business that will also be closed on the Dec 26th.
