Weather news: "if you do not like the weather in MN. just wait and it will change" very evident in the past week as we have gone from some spring-like days to winter like days and back and forth several times in the past week.
St. John's/ Kongsvinger news: at 9:30 a.m. on January 13th there will be joint services at ST. John’s followed by coffee hour and Sunday school and on January 20th at Kong followed by the annual meeting and potluck dinner, no coffee hour or Sunday school it will also be new member Sunday
The annual meetings are January 20th at Kongsvinger and the 27th at ST. John’s
Donnelly youth club meets on January 16th, 4-6 p.m. at ST. John's
2019 KMRS broadcast dates are January 27th, April 28th, July 7th, September 15th, and December 15th contact the parish office for more info.
Gslc news: (Special Guest) Johan Hinderlie of 1517 Legacy will be preaching and leading adult education on January 20th
Adult Ed resumes on January 13th following services, Tuesday a.m. bible study returns on January 15th at 10 a.m.
The Bookmobile will be in town on January 14th from 3:45- 4 p.m. on Main Street
Donnelly Rod and Gun club annual ice fishing tournament January 19th at Pomme de Terre public access north of Morris starting with registration at 9 a.m. For more info or to purchase a raffle ticket talk to Craig Awsumb at Willie’s Super Valu or any rod and gun club member
Rusc Kinship’s annual hotdish cook-off is January 28th starting at 5:15 p.m. at Faith Morris.
David W. Day of Morris passed away on January 2nd survivors include his granddaughter-in-law, former Donnelly area resident Amy (Gulbrandson)(Ryan) Murray of Lakeville;
Bar bingo sponsored by the Donnelly fire department has started up again at the Place to be-Donnelly and will continue monthly until further notice. contact the bar or a fire department  member for more info
