Weather news: although temps have not been too bad the past week, some strong winds have made it feel very cold, no major snow fall yet
Most Donnelly business will be closed on Dec.25th & Jan 1st
St. John’s/ Kongsvinger news: ADVENT WREATH READERS/LIGHTERS: We are looking for families/couples/individuals from both congregations willing to read a short prayer and light the Advent Wreath one Sunday during Advent. Dates are December 17th, and 24th. Please contact the Parish Office if you are willing to help us out at 320-246-3211
No S.S. on December 24th or 31st
There will be Joint services on Christmas Eve at St. John’s at 10 a.m. and at 8 P.m. and at Kongsvinger Christmas day at 10 a.m. and on December 31st at Kongsvinger at 10 a.m. Also on the 31st our services will be broadcast over the radio (KMRS) at 11 a.m., sponsored by Mark Koepke and me in memory of our parents and his foster brother Bobby
Gslc news: Advent services conclude on December 20th at 7 p.m.
SS program on December 17th during 9 a.m. services
There will be Services on Christmas Eve at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and Christmas day at 10 a.m.
Other church news: Living nativity at faith Morris December 24th at 2:30 and 4 p.m.
Community Christmas dinner on December 25th at noon at First Lutheran Morris
On December 17th there will be a S.S. program at 1st –Morris at 9:30 a.m. and at Faith-Morris at 11 a.m.

On December 18th The Bookmobile will be in town on main St. on from 3:45-4 p.m. and the Donnelly fire department meets at 7 p.m. at fire hall
Herman red hatters will meet on Jan 8th at AJ’s in Herman at 9 a.m.
