Welcome to another edition of the Donnelly news.
Weather news: after a fairly mild fall winter
returned this week with some cold temps, strong winds, and a few inches of
snow.
St. John’s/ Kongsvinger news: Sunday school program
on December 10th at 9:45 a.m. at St. John’s & 5 p.m. at Kongsvinger
followed by a light supper
St. John’s and Kongsvinger will be providing Hat
and Mitten trees – for Toys for Tots and scarves, hats and mittens, for those
in need, during the last week in November and the first two weeks of December.
Be watching for more information coming soon.
ADVENT WREATH READERS/LIGHTERS: We are looking for
families/couples/individuals from both congregations willing to read a short
prayer and light the Advent Wreath one Sunday during Advent. Dates are December
10th, 17th, and 24th. Please contact the Parish Office if you are willing to
help us out at 320-246-3211

Community Christmas day dinner on December 25th
at noon at first Lutheran Morris
The Bookmobile will be in town on main St. on
December 4th and 18th from 3:45-4 p.m.
Santa will be in town on December 10th
at about 1 p.m. at the community hall
Donnelly fire department meets on December 11 and
18th at 7 p.m. at fire hall
Death notice: Esther Thompson of Cyrus passed away
on December 3rd survivors include her daughter Mona (John) Dickey of
Donnelly
David Reed of Moorhead passed away on November 5th
survivors include his wife former Donnelly area resident Lorraine Kruize of
Morehead, and their family , his sister in-law Gertie (Glen) Werk & family
of Donnelly
Landon Lawrence Greiner was born November 22nd,
2017, at The Saint Cloud Hospital to Luke and Nikki Greiner of Rockville, MN.
Landon weighed 6 lbs. & 7 oz and was 19.5 in. long. Grandparents are Randy
Kramer of Morris, MN, Sher Kramer of New York Mills, MN and Don and Michele
Greiner of Hancock, MN. Great Grandparents are Joyce Kramer of Morris, MN
formerly of Donnelly and Bill Myers of Hancock, MN.
Amelya Evelyn Riopelle was born recently in Ind. great
grandparents are Harry & Corrine Kruize of Donnelly

Jewelry to wish Wally an early happy birthday
Tiger gymnastics tiger invite (4th) Katie
Geise and Shannon kill are members of that team Shannon and Katie finished 4th
& 5th in vault Katie finished 5th on the beam and 3rd in floor
Tiger girls won basketball tournament in Benson,
Islande Speer is a member of that team
