Welcome to another edition of the Donnelly news. my column this week is dedicated to my aunt ("mom") Pearl A. Anderson who passed away on January 20th, 2019
Weather News: it has turned cold again with some light snow and blowing and drifting
Donnelly church news: There will be joint services at 9:30 a.m. on the first 1st,3rd, and 5th Sundays at Kongsvinger, the 2nd, and 4th Sundays of the month at St John's followed by Sunday school and coffee fellowship.
Communion services are on the 1st and 4th Sundays of the month
The annual church meetings are on January 26th (ST. John's) following joint services about 10:30 a.m., followed by a furnished dinner. (Free will offering) not potluck as announced earlier
No KCLW in February
Broadcasts available for sponsorship in 2020 are 4/26, 7/5, 9/13 and 12/13. To sponsor one contact the parish office.
The Stan Koehntop family is sponsoring the broadcast of the Kongsvinger services at 11 a.m. on June 26th on KMRS (1230 a.m.) or online http://kmrskkok.com/
Good Shepherd Lutheran church news: the church is looking for a new secretary if interested contact the church at 585-6868
The sermon is broadcast every Sunday on KKOK 95.7 at10:30 a.m.
No more Tuesday A.M. bible studies or Sunday adult Ed until further notice.
BBB will continue at 7 p.m. at the Fireside restaurant in Morris on Wednesday evenings until Ash Wednesday.
The Bookmobile will be in town on Main St January 27th from 2:45–3 p.m. note new time
No Donnelly community club or Stevens county Genealogical society meetings until spring
Bar Bingo at the place to be in Donnelly. Contact the bar for more info and future dates
On February 18th at Faith-Morris, Rusc Kinship will have their annual warm hearts and hot dishes event. I attended their open house on January 14th and I learned there is going to be another open house next month
There will be an open house 90th birthday party for Andy Brevig at Kongsvinger in February
Rev David Webster of Butterfield MN passed away on December 21st. About 25 yrs ago he was an interim pastor at St John's and Kongsvinger in Donnelly.
New address: Jim and Lou Eystad C% of the Legacy 622 E 7th st. Room 150 Morris MN 56267. I visited them Tue aft Jim is doing much better

The Tiger boys BB was runner up in the Fergus falls tournament recently Jackson Loge is a member of that team.
After services on January 12th, I stopped to visit Vedar Harstad at his apartment in green river apts. On June 14th, I attended the Storm chili feed and a boys hockey game at the Lee Center Morris.
