Welcome to another edition of the Donnelly news.

Weather news: Some sunshine and warmer temps during the past week have lifted everybody’s spirits. Of course with the melting snow comes some flooding and many people like me have water in their basements.

ST. John's/ Kongsvinger news: There will be Joint services at 9:30 a.m. at Kongsvinger March 31st followed by Sunday school and the birthday bash and on April 7th at ST. John’s

Lenten services will be at 7 P.M. on April 3rd at Kongsvinger and on April 10th at St John’s followed by lunch.

GSLC church: Lenten services continue every week at 7 P.M. until Holy Week.
March 31st Seth Kincade speaks on Inspiration Point Bible Camp.

On April 8th from 3:45-4 p.m. the bookmobile will be in town on main st, at 7 p.m. the firemen will meet at the fire hall, the community club will have their annual meeting at the community hall, and the Rendsville 4-h meets in the FACS room and Kristi Lindquist classroom at MAHS. Note change of date for the meeting

Herman Red Hats meeting April 1st at 11 a.m. at Hunan Spring Restaurant at Fergus Falls

The Stevens county genealogical society will meet on April 4th at 1:30 p.m. at the Morris Library.

8th annual Kurt Kruize memorial supper April 8th, 5-7 p.m. at the Hancock community center, his grandfather is from Donnelly.


Donnelly rod and gun club annual meeting, April 2nd, at 5 p.m. at West Pomme De Terre lodge, Donnelly

Donnelly city council meets on April 6th at 4 p.m. in the city office.

Corrine Krogh, of Morris, passed away on March 21st survivors include her granddaughter Ann (Brian) Erdahl of Morris, Brian is a former Donnelly area resident

Past wk. Floyd Miller memorial service Bethlehem –Herman, St Mary’s fish fry legion Morris, West Central cattlemen’s steak fry armory, Miss Morris pancake breakfast fundraiser, bible study & Lenten services at Gs w/Eystads, a visit to Harold Rippe, Inga Mae Urke, Pr and Mrs. Norm Olsen at their homes
