Welcome to another edition of the Donnelly news, this issue is dedicated to the memory of my mom who passed away March 14th, 1994
Weather news well after hibernating most of the year old man winter decided to wake up and make up for lost time, Monday brought another storm with about 10 inches of snow meaning snow removal equipment has been kept very busy the past few weeks. It appears he is not done yet as another storm is predicted for the weekend, thankfully temps have been fairly moderate.
St. John’s/ Kongsvinger news: Lenten services continue every week until March 21st at 7 p.m. with lunch afterward and alternating between churches, March 14th at St John’s March 21st Kong. A complete schedule can be found in the February newsletter

The ELCA glacial ridge conference assembly will be held at 3 P.m. on March 11th at Trinity Lutheran church -Alberta
There will be a Choir for Community Tenebrae Service on Good Friday, March 30 at 7:00P.m.at Assumption Church in Morris. Please call Linda Hodgson with any questions or to let her know you would like to participate at 320-287-1027. The rehearsals will be Sunday evenings on March 11 at 7:00P.m., March 18 at 7:00P.m., and March 25 at 6:00P.m.
The “This and That” sale will be held at the Federated church on March 24th 9a.m. -12:30 P.m.
Widows and widowers are invited to Sunday lunches at noon in the basement at Old #1, Morris on March 11th; all widows/widowers are invited for lunch on their own and fellowship! Questions, call Rose Murphy, Grief Care Coordinator, Pedersen Funeral Home. There is an elevator in front of the old # 1

Death notice: Robert “Danny” Kloos of the Herman/Donnelly area passed away on March 4th. Many of you will remember him as the bass singer of the Kongsvinger quartet for about 50 years.
On March 12th, from 3:45-4 p.m., the Bookmobile will be in town on Main St., and at 7 p.m., the Donnelly Fire Department will meet at the fire hall and Donnelly community club meets at community hall at as we start making plans for the bee on August 25th, and 26th the tri-feature Oliver, Moline, and Cockshutt
