Weather news thankfully the blizzard predicted for Sunday failed to arrive, temperatures have been fairly mild this week, enabling some snow and ice to melt. Of course, we still got a few more weeks of bb tournaments to come
St. John's/ Kongsvinger news: Lenten services conclude with services on March 21st at Kongsvinger at 7 p.m. with lunch afterward, see the March newsletter for a list of Holy week services
Defibrillator training will take place on March 18th at Kongsvinger about 9:30 a.m. following services
Contact the church office for info about ordering Easter Lilly's for either church
Gslc news: Lenten services at the church conclude at 7 p.m. on March 21st, there is a sign- up sheet at the church for Easter lilies
Holy week services March 25th Palm Sunday services and confirmation at 9 a.m. March 29th and 30th services at 7 p.m., Easter sun at 9 a.m.
Mitch Koosmann will give a presentation during adult Ed about 10:30 a.m. on March., 18th about his mission work in North Africa
There will be a Choir for Community Tenebrae Service on Good Friday, March 30 at 7:00P.m.at Assumption Church in Morris. Please call Linda Hodgson with any questions or to let her know you would like to participate at 320-287-1027. The rehearsals will be Sunday evenings on March 18 at 7:00 P.m., and March 25 at 6:00 P.m.

Donnelly community club held a lengthy meeting on March 12th at the Hall as we start making plans for this yrs. bee and other events
Donnelly Community Club, Inc. is giving away a 50th Anniversary Donnelly Threshing Bee Hoodie on April 1, 2018. And that's no fooling! Anyone who signs up and pays for a membership by April 1 will have their name entered in the drawing for the hoodie. Memberships are $10 per person and payment needs to be paid to the DCCI Treasurer by April 1 to qualify for the drawing. Joining the Donnelly Community Club is a GREAT way to show support for your community. We host the annual Donnelly Threshing Bee, Annual Ice Cream Social, Community Halloween party, and Santa's visit to Donnelly. Join us and help make Donnelly the best that it can be!

Lola Michaelson was born February 26, 2018, to Jeremy Michaelson and Hannah McNally of Morris, MN. Lola weighed 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was 18.75 in. long. Grandparents are Joan and the late Gary Michaelson of Morris, MN, Audrey and the late Steven Larson of Donnelly, MN, and Tom McNally of Crawfordsville, IN. the great-grandparents, are Don and Algene Larson Donnelly, great- great, grandmother is Bertha Larson of Morris
Past week a visit to my aunt Pearl in apt in Morris, owl bb in Hancock and subsection bb games at the UMM, glacial ride elca conference in Alberta, community club mtg in Donnelly ,Lenten services at GS
