Welcome to another edition of the Donnelly news.

Weather news: well temperatures have moderated some after another bitter cold snap over the wkend and the early part of the wkend. Also have gotten several inches of snow
St. John’s/ Kongsvinger news:  Annual meetings are on January 21st (St John’s) and January 28th (Kongsvinger) both meetings will be held after services, followed by a potluck dinner. Note that services times will switch on January 28th   with services at St. John’s at 8:30 a.m. and Kongsvinger at 11 p.m.
Gslc news: there will be a program about Mt Carmel during Adult Ed on January 21st.


January 21 there will be a special mtg at 1st-Morris following the 9:30 a.m. service for purpose on voting to call a new pastor followed by their annual meeting
February 4 - Super Bowl Sunday at Hosanna worship center. Pre-game activities at the church will start at 9:30 a.m.  At 10 a.m. we will hear from a professional athlete about finding Christ.  Wear your favorite jersey and bring a friend.
Pedersen Funeral Home has begun a new ministry,  that started on Sunday, January 14th, at 12:00 noon, (and monthly, thereafter) If you are experiencing life as a widow/widower, you are invited to join us for lunch to visit with old friends, and meet some new who are also going through what you are.  Lunch is on your own, ordering off the menu in the basement of the Old Number One (elevator available in front). 

Warm hearts and hot dishes sponsored by RUSC Kinship mentoring will be held on January 23rd at 5 p.m. at faith Morris, tickets available at the door. Former Donnelly resident Erin Koehntop of Morris is the new director of the Org.
Open house baby shower for Andrea Koehntop on January 27th from 2-4 p.m. at faith-Morris
Jim & Lou Eystad celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on January 17th

Death notices: Bill Dripps of Morris passed away on January 14th local survivors include his son Dan (Jackie) Dripps of Morris. He was preceded in death by this wife Mary Olsen of Donnelly
Former Donnelly area resident Gordy Bredy of Hoffman passed away on January 15th
Past week, adult Ed at Gs (w/Eystad’s) BBB at met lounge, Bill Dripps visitation, and funeral at first Lutheran-Morris, a visit to Harold Rippe and Pr Norm and Ramona Olsen at their homes in Glenwood and Starbuck
