Weather news: well after several weeks of bitter cold, temps have moderated enough to melt some of the snow and ice around the area, however as I am writing this a winter storm is predicted for the next several days

St. John’s/ Kongsvinger news: Annual meetings are on January 21^st (St John’s) and January 28^th (Kongsvinger) both meetings will be held after services, followed by a potluck dinner. Note that services times will switch on January 28^th

Gslc news: no Bible study January 16th

Donnelly youth club meets on January 17^th at 4 p.m.

On January 15th the Donnelly fire department meets at 7 p.m. at fire hall

Donnelly rod & gun club annual's ice fishing tournament is Jan 20^th starting at 9 am on Pomme De Terre Lake (public access)

DFD bar bingo on Jan 20^th at 7 pm at place to be -Donnelly

Habitat for Humanity pancake breakfast fundraiser January 14^th 8 a.m. -12:30 p.m. at the legion-Morris

Warm hearts and hot dishes sponsored by RUSC Kinship mentoring on January 23rd at 5 p.m. at faith Morris, Former Donnelly resident Erin Koehntop of Morris is the new director of the Org.

Open house baby shower for Andrea Koehntop on January 27^th from 2-4 p.m. at faith-Morris

Death notices: Richard (Dick) Goldenstein of Bloomington passed away on January 8^th. Local survivors include his cousins Wally McCollar of Morris and Della Dunn of Donnelly. My Dad purchased our farm from his grandfather

James Floyd Crummie of Donnelly passed away on January 8^th local survivors include his wife Anna, daughter Margret (Clay) Rundquist and their family all of Donnelly

Former Donnelly area resident Oliver Alexander Hansen of Elbow Lake passed away on January 8^th local survivors include his cousin Gary (Karen) Uphoff of Donnelly and their family

Celebrations: Brendan Steve Woodke was born to Derek and Elysia Woodke of Kensington, on December 28^th, grandparents are Steve and Molly Woodke of Alex, great-grandparents are the late Donald and Beverly (Anderson) Woodke, Bev was from Donnelly
