Welcome to another edition of the Donnelly news.
Weather news: it was rainy and cool over much of the last
wkend, some strong winds did some damage Tue eve in the area and knocked out
power to some people in the area
St. John’s/ Kongsvinger news: On October First the Morris
area community church choir will sing at a combined parish 11 A.M. service at
St. John's in Donnelly. The choir is composed of singers from at least six area
parishes.
Gslc news: breakfast fundraiser for Hurricane Harvey victims
September 24th after services
Other church news: Faith Lutheran will have an outreach
breakfast on Oct 1st during fellowship hour to raise support for the missionary
they support in Africa
Community news On September 25th .the bookmobile will be in
town on Main St. from 3:30-3:45 p.m.,
City council mtg on October 7th at 4 p.m. at city hall
Stevens county genealogical society, meets on October 5th at
1:30 p.m. at the museum in Morris
Rendsville 4-h meets at 7 p.m. at ST. John’s on October 2nd
Mary Flaten of Hancock passed away on September 14th
survivors include her son Justin (Carrie Dingman) Flaten Carrie is the
granddaughter of Louella Kopel of Donnelly
Former Donnelly area resident Franklin Miller passed away on
Sept 16th and Marj Trost Speer passed away on Sept.19th.
Both currently lived in Morris
Open House Baby Shower for Baby Beyer, son of Mac and
Xochil, will be held Saturday, September 30 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. at Faith
Lutheran Church. They are registered at Target. All are welcome and invited to
attend.

Fargo, pioneer power show-Albany ,mccl fall tour Alex, bible study at Gs
w/Eystads, visited former Donnelly area resident Palma (Jergenson) Johnson in
Albany
