and Brad and Mary Audette of Brooklyn Park. Great-grandfather is Clarence Giese
of Donnelly.
Ed Delong of Herman passed away on July 19th
survivors include his wife Yvonne, brothers John and Ben and grandsons Ethan,
Tate, Shane, and Brody Harstad. Several of us from the Donnelly area were among
those who attended his funeral at the um church in Herman. I used to work for
two sheep farmers in the area so when he and his father in law Walt Steger came
to sheer their sheep it was my job to help catch them. My dad used to raise
sheep however when I was born he sold them to pay the hospital bill, when my
mom told Walt that, he thought he had made a good “trade”.
