Bakken, Odean Age 80, of Bloomington, passed away April 14, 2012. Preceded in death by daughter, Deanna. Survived by wife, Joan; daughter, Lori (Greg Mertes); and cherished grandchildren, Maja and Nathan. Born in Roseau, MN, Dean was a proud Norwegian-American. He was a mechanic at Northwest Airlines for over 30 years. Dean was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying walleye fishing on Lake of the Woods and deer hunting. He will be missed by his family and many friends. Services Saturday, April 21 at 11 AM at Atonement Lutheran Church in Bloomington.
