Welcome to another edition of the Donnelly news. This issue is dedicated to the memory of my dad Emil Anderson who passed away October 31st 2005
 A few days of sunshine last week allowed farmers to get some more crops harvested but this week has started out cold wet and rainy
In the news from the ST. John's/ Kongsvinger Parish: joint services at 9:30 a.m. on the first 1st,3rd, and 5th Sundays at Kongsvinger the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at St John's followed by Sunday school and coffee fellowship. Communion services are on the 1st and 4th Sundays of the month. No Sunday school November 3rd and 10th. The Parish trunk and treat event will be held on October 31st on the west side of ST. John's starting at 5 p.m.
There will be a special congregational meeting following the 9:30 a.m. services at Kongsvinger on November 3rd to authorize repairs on the church and parish hall roofs that were damaged in the hail storm last summer.

The Annual Donnelly Halloween party will be held at the community hall on October 31st, starting at 5 p.m.
There will be a Scandinavian heritage festival at first Lutheran Morris on November 6th, starting at 3:30 p.m.
Federated church trunk or treat on October 31st, 5–7 p.m.
The following events will take place at Neimackl Lake Park: the Haunted woods trail of terror on October 25th, starting at dusk -9 p.m. and the family fun festival October 26th at the park about halfway between Donnelly and Herman.
Donnelly city council meets on November 2nd at 4 p.m. at the council chambers in Donnelly
Rendsville 4-h meets on November 4th at 6:30 p.m. at ST. John's
The Stevens county genealogical society meets on November 7th at 1:30 p.m. at the library
 Rocking with Kinship featuring "Elvis" November 8th starting with dinner at 5:30 p.m. show at 7 p.m. at Old # 1 Southside
Tate Allen Feuchtenberger was born on October 19th to Max, and Gabi Feuchtenberger of Hancock grandparents are Craig and Paula Feuchtenberger and Barry and patty Nienhaus both of Hancock. Great grandmother is Geesien Kill of Morris formerly of Donnelly
Hadley Jo Kampmeier was born on October 15th to Max and Sydney Kampmeier of Chokio grandparents include Joel and Jamie Beyer of Chokio great-grandmother is Carol Wilcock of Morris
Former Donnelly area resident Vivian Jean Graff of Litchfield passed away on October 19th local survivors include her brother Paul (Betty) Sperr of Donnelly and their family
Past wk. fall fest st j Donnelly, a visit to Jim and Lou Eystad at the WWV, adult forum and bible study at Gs, fall into health at MAES'
