Welcome to another edition of the Donnelly news.
Weather news: some warmer drier weather means most farmers
in the area are busy in the fields getting the ground worked up and crops
planted
S.T. John's/ Kongsvinger news: joint services at 9:30 a.m.,
on May 19 at Kongsvinger followed by graduation reception in the parish hall;
on May 26 at St John's followed by coffee hour
We have two H.S.Grads, and one higher ed Grad from
Kongsvinger this year. I will have my annual graduation recognition issue
sometime in the next few weeks, so please let me know if you have any
graduates.
GSLC news: May 19 is confirmation Sunday
Several Morris area churches are sponsoring a free showing of the movie unplanned on May 19
at the Morris theater, free will offering more info/tickets 585-6868
No bookmobile on May 27
Donnelly fire department meets on May 20 at 7 p.m. at the
fire hall Donnelly community club mtg has been rescheduled to May 20 same place
/time
Agralite annual meeting is on May 20 at Benson H.S. starting
with supper at 5:30 p.m.
Herman Red Hats will meet June 3 at 9 a.m. at Anderson Acres
Nursery in Alberta, followed by lunch in Morris. Bring a planter to fill or get
one there.
Audrey Ruplinger of Alex passed away on May 13 survivors
include her granddaughter former Donnelly area resident Amy Searle and her
family
Benjamin Bradley Backman born on May 7 to Kris Backman of
Minneapolis, his grandparents, are Brad and Jonna Backman of Morris, great–grandmother is Liz Aschman of Morris
