The Donnelly community club had their first meeting of the year on April 13th as we begin to make plans for our annual threshing bee on Aug.29th & 30th remember this will be our 50th anniversary so we are looking for anything made in 1965 and for pictures of past bees. We are also looking for past minutes from community club meetings apparently somewhere along the line some have disappeared and most of those who were involved in getting the bee off the ground are no longer around. Anyone who has any ideas and/or suggestions for it and/or other events let me or one of the officers know about it.
Past week I attended, the smelt fry in Herman, the Morris co-op supper and the cattleman’s steak fry at the prairie inn, the Belgian waffle fundraiser for someplace safe at old #1 Southside, burger and a blessing at the met lounge in Morris
