Mark and I attended the birthday party at the west wing Village for Marlys Alm,
she is 99 years young. Many of her family were there for the event. After the party we visited some of the
residents there. During the past week I attended Bible study at Good shepherd and stopped into see
Wally at McCollar Jewelry, he was telling me about how he got his start in Morris,
saying his Dad gave him good advice back then. Selling three engagement rings
on one day about 50 years ago was a huge morale booster for him when he was
getting started.
