Jim and Lou Eystad and I attended the forum on the new reclaim hymnal led by PR Norm Olsen at gslc on Oct 30th.
Corrine Kruize and I attended the genealogy workshop at the schs on Oct 29th, later I travelled to Hancock for the expo sponsored by the Spanish club.
Due to an unexpected last minute commitment I was late getting to Donnelly on Oct 31st, by then the Halloween party was pretty much over. However I could tell that the threshing bee royalty and their families had again put a lot of time, work, and effort into organizing and putting it on so a big thank you goes out to them for doing that.
Steve Fults and I attended the "your government, your taxes" forum at the sr. center in Morris on Nov 1st.
Henning and Craig Awsumb and I were among the many from the area that attended the lutefisk supper at First Lutheran on Nov 2nd. It was very good. Many people still talk about the ones we used to have out at Kong at our peak we were serving about 1500 people that came from many miles away to attend it.
