The Donnelly city council meeting will be on Feb 7th at 7 pm. I had a note in my box concerning the meetings apparently there is some misunderstanding about them being taped and televised. There is no cost to the city for having this done. They are now also be aired on the web go to ris main menu, Ch. 6 videos. In the drop down menu under folders chose misc. and you will see it. I understand the volume is not too good but that is being worked on

Congratulations to the Morris business professional assoc. chapter that won several awards at the regional competition at Alex tech, Sydney Beyer, Sami Searle, and Kendra Speer are members of that org.

Congratulations to the following who recently named to the national honor society at MAHS, Sydney Beyer, Kaitlin van horn, and Jacob Moser
Jim and Lou Eystad and I attended the visitation for Carol Brevig at the funeral home and Rudy Gulbrandson at st j on Jan 28th, their funerals at Kong and St J on the 29th, worship services at good shepherd on the 30th ,and the memorial service for burton strand on the 31s t at Kong. I told Lou on Mon that I think we have seen enough of each other for a while. In their “spare” time they have been visiting Ruth Moerke in the hosp. in Morris. I guess if there is an “up” side to all the funerals it is the chance to see and visit with some people you have not seen for a long time.
Jim Aanerud and I were among those who attended the Donnelly co-op’s winter crop day at the Donnelly hall on Feb 1st. Even though I am no longer actively involved in farming, I am still a “farmer at heart” and enjoy attending meetings like this.
Pearl A. Anderson celebrated her birthday on Jan 27th. Several members of her family and friends stopped in during the week to wish her a happy birthday. I stopped by to visit her enroute home from Morris on Feb 2nd. I also visited my cousin Bev Hurlbut at LL on the 2nd.
