Weather news: cold and stormy has been the weather pattern most of the past week, due to weather and other factors (i.e., boiler problems) many students in the Morris school district have been out of class more than they have been in lately

St. John's/ Kongsvinger news: at 9:30 a.m. on February 17th at Kongsvinger there will be joint services followed by the Kongsvinger Cemetery association’s annual meeting and coffee hour, no Sunday school

There will be Joint services at 9:30 a.m. at ST. John’s on February 24th followed by coffee hour and Sunday school

ELCA Glacial ridge conference annual assembly will be held on March 3rd at 2 p.m. at St Paul’s Lutheran church Lowry

Gslc news: An open house baby shower for Maizee Sue, daughter of Brent and Missy Koehl, will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, today (Saturday) at the church, her baptism is on February 17th at the church

The Donnelly fire department meets at 7 p.m. on February 18th at the fire hall

 On February 25th The Bookmobile will be in town from 3:45- 4 p.m. on Main Street

Donnelly youth club meets on February 20th at 4 p.m. at ST. John’s all the community kids are invited to attend

The 2019 RTA directories are now out if you wish to have one you can get one at HD and CO in Donnelly

Rendsville 4-h will meet on March 4th at 4 p.m. at Andes tower hill to go skiing

Donnelly city council meets on March 2nd at 4 p.m. at city hall

The Stevens county genealogical society will not have a meeting in March

Stevens county historical society will have their annual meeting on February 23rd at Faith-Morris starting with a noon meal, the program featuring Doug Ohman will begin about 1 p.m.

Janice (Kruize) Reed of Cambridge formerly of Donnelly passed away on February 4th survivors include her father Vern Kruize of Donnelly and his family
