Welcome to another edition of the Donnelly news.
Weather news: a mild sunny weekend was bookended by rain
late last and early this week. Farmers are busy picking beans; I see some have
started corn harvest too.
St. John's/ Kongsvinger news: there will be joint services
at 9:30 a.m. at Kongsvinger on September 30th and October 7th with Sunday
school at 10:30 a.m. Kongsvinger both Sundays.
St. John’s fall festival is October 13th from 10:30 a.m.-1
p.m. at the church

The Options for Women/Morris Respect for Life Banquet and
Silent Auction – Sunday, October 7th at the Morris Evangelical Free Church
starting with a Silent auction and social hour at 4:30 p.m., Dinner at 5:30 p.m. Program at 6:00 pm
Gatherings for Widows and Widowers will meet for lunch at
noon on October 14 in the basement of Old #1 in Morris.
The Stevens county genealogical society will meet on October
4th at 1:30 p.m. at the library.
On October 6th Peter Bremer head librarian at the Briggs
Library will present a program how to use fire insurance maps and other maps
for genealogy research; from 11 a.m. -1
p.m. in computer lab 360 more info call him at the library 589-6175.
Rendsville 4-h meets at St. John’s on October 1st at 7 p.m.
On October 8th The Bookmobile will be in town on
main st from 3:45-4 p.m. The Donnelly community club and the fire department meet
at 7 p.m. at the Community and fire Halls.
The Donnelly community club is hosting the semi-annual
Minnesota association of Pioneer Power shows meeting on October 13th starting
at 11 a.m. the Donnelly community hall

Southside 9:30a.m.-noon
On September 22nd Bri Bachmeier and Arron Boerner were
married in Fargo. His dad is former Donnelly area resident Scott Boerner
The Papa’s angels benefit raised about $5,000 which will buy
four more defibrillators.

Pope co republican picnic at Bareness park- Glenwood, papa’s angel’s fundraiser
at Place to be. Services at St. John’s Starbuck, Rose City threshing show, fall
festival at Erickson petting zoo- Osakis, Morris community meal at Faith; St.
co-rep executive cmte mtg legion Morris, Kloos funeral at 1st Morris, Moser
