 Welcome to another edition of the Donnelly news.
Weather news: the  the past week has been cold, but dry farmers are busy picking corn still a a lot out there yet
In the news from the ST. John's/ Kongsvinger Parish: joint services at 9:30 a.m. on the first 1st,3rd, and 5th Sundays at Kongsvinger, the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at St John's followed by Sunday school and Coffee fellowship. Communion services are on the 1st and 4th Sundays of the month.
Kongsvinger Fall festival is on November 24th, starting at 11 a.m. in preparation for it, there will be a lefse making days on November 20th at 4 p.m.
"Where's the beef dinner" raffle at St. John's is going on now tickets may purchase from any St. John's member or at the parish office
KLCW advent brunch at 10:30 a.m. on December 1st at Kongsvinger following the church service about 10:30 a.m. all (men and women) are welcome
Correction: Joint thanksgiving eve services on November 27th at 7 p.m. at Kongsvinger with coffee fellowship to follow
The newest member of Kongsvinger is Quinton Giles Oelke, son of Joe and Jesse Oelke his baptism took place on November 10th at Kongsvinger
Donnelly youth club meets on November 20th from 4-6 p.m. at St. John's

BBB will meet again on November 20th then be on Hiatus until next yr.
No More community club and genealogical society meetings until next year
Donnelly fire department annual turkey bingo is on November 22nd in the hall, starting at 7 p.m.
Donnelly city council meets on December 7th at 4 p.m. in the council chambers in Donnelly

Janice Eystad Johnson of Anoka passed away on October 31st survivors include her brother Jamey (Kathy), Robert (Bernie) and sister in law Donna and their families of Donnelly

There will be an Open house bridal shower for Kristi Kopel bride to be of Breden Douglas on November 18th, 1-4 p.m. at faith –Morris. She is the daughter of Mike and Joanie Kopel of Donnelly
John Ruff and his daughter deb of TX have spent some time here recently visiting his sister Lou Eystad other family and friends in the area

Bookmobile in town on Main St., December 4th from 2:45-3 p.m. note new time
Santa day in Donnelly at the community hall is Dec 14th Starting with a noon meal by the community club.Santa will be arriving at about 1 pm

Past wk. St co gen soc. mtg –the library, Corrine Jackson visitation Starbuck, open house MAS, Adult Ed Gs, Veterans Day program Herman, a visit to Helen Peterson in Barrett care center, meatball supper faith-Morris
